1998-0095-F SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE This FOIA request consists of material related to the Bush Administration's policy on homosexuals. This includes the treatment of lesbians and gay men in the military, federal government, and by society in general. A substantial portion of this subject collection deals with the administration's position on the Hate Crime Statistics bill which required law enforcement agencies to collect data on crimes committed due to hatred of a person's race, gender, religion, ethnicity, and sexual orientation.
