An American actor (Arthur Tyler) impersonating an English butler is hired by a nouveau riche woman (Effie Floud) from New Mexico to refine her husband and headstrong daughter, Aggie. Fancy Pants is the first movie in our new film series, "Laughter is the Best Medicine: A Tribute to Women Comedians in Cinema." This series is featured in conjunction with our upcoming exhibit "The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection," opening Oct. 1 and focusing on heart disease in women.

The Bush Library and Museum, and the Bush Library Foundation present the Classic Film Series free of charge and invite anyone in the community interested in classic films to attend. Beverages are provided courtesy of Bryan Coca Cola Bottling Company, and popcorn is available at no cost. Refreshments are available in the lobby in the hour preceding the start of each movie. All films are shown in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center's Hagler Auditorium, unless otherwise noted, and a speaker introduces each film. Parking is free and plentiful.
