Star Party
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum invites the public to our first Star Party with the Brazos Region Astronomy Service Society (BRASS) on Friday, November 21 from 6:00-10:00 p.m.
During this exciting event, visitors will be able to view the autumn constellations, Venus, Jupiter, the moons of Jupiter, the Ring Nebula, the Andromeda Galaxy, selected globular clusters and other deep sky objects. Visitors will also be given star charts by the astronomers from BRASS.
The Brazos Region Astronomy Service Society (BRASS) is one of the 15 groups in Texas that are a part of NASA's Night Sky Network, which provides the public with astronomy experiences. For more information about this event, please contact Tracy Paine at (979) 691-4014 or tracy.paine@nara.gov.
