Take Me Out to the Ball Game (1949, 93 minutes, color), directed by Busby Berkeley. The Wolves baseball team gets steamed when they find they've been inherited by one K.C. Higgins, a suspected "fathead" who intends to take an active interest in running the team. But K.C. turns outs to be a beautiful woman who really knows her baseball. Starring Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly.

Take me out to the movies! Born to Play Ball is a collection of films dedicated to America's Favorite Pastime--baseball. In conjuction with the musuem exhibit of the same name, we will feature an array of inspiring, humorous-and yes, even musical-tales of baseball lore.

The Bush Library and the Bush Library Foundation present the Classic Film Series free of charge and invite anyone in the community to attend. Beverages are provided courtesy of Bryan Coca Cola Bottling Company and popcorn is available at no cost. Refreshments are available in the lobby in the hour preceding the start of each movie.
