Closing of Trains: Tracks of the Iron Horse exhibit
Date(s): July 31, 2006 to December 31, 1969The fascinating "Trains" exhibit is pulling out of the station on Monday, July 31, 2006. Don't miss your last chance to experience this collection of 150 years of railroad history.
This exhibit includes many rare and one-of-a-kind items and artifacts, including fine railroad china, train clocks and pocket watches, historic travel posters and tools of the locomotive trade. Also, historic and contemporary photographs detail the rich tradition of the railroad industry in American heritage.
The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum has welcomed thousands of visitors to this entertaining and informative exhibit. Monday, July 31 will be the last opportunity to explore the "Trains" exhibit before it closes to make way for our next exciting exhibits: "100 Tall Texans" and "Texas Lone Stars".
Museum hours on Monday, July 31, 2006 are 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Parking at the Museum is free. The Museum is fully accessible and wheelchairs are available at the admissions desk.
