Railroad Conference: "One Hundred Years: The Diesel Locomotive in American Railroading"
Date(s): April 29, 2006 to December 31, 1969
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bush Library plus an evening program at Brazos Valley Cotton Exchange in Bryan, Texas. The George Bush Library and Museum is pleased to partner with the Center for Railroad Photography & Art to sponsor a day long symposium on the history of the diesel locomotive. The daytime program will feature speakers and slide presentations at the George Bush Library. The evening program will include a dinner and keynote address at the historic Brazos Valley Cotton Exchange in downtown Bryan Texas (approximately 6 miles from the Bush Library). Three meals including a steak or shrimp dinner will be included in the conference fee of $85. Reservations are required.
