Bush Museum Issues Forum -- Mark Reutter

The Bush Museum Issues Forum presents Mark Reutter presenting "Century Gone: The Rise, Fall, and Return of Railroads in the 20th Century." Mr. Reutter has been a reporter for The Baltimore Sun and has published in The Wilson Quarterly, Barron's, and The Nation. He is currently a business and law editor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also the author of Making Steel: Sparrows Point and the Rise and Ruin of American Industrial Might and is the editor of Railroad History, the journal of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society. After his talk, a limited number of Mr. Reutter's books will be available for sale. He has agreed to inscribe copies for Issues Forum guests. If you already own one of his books, please feel free to bring it with you to the presentation. This free event begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Museum Orientation Theater.
