Date(s): August 25, 2005 to December 31, 1969
The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library presents The Long Hot Summer, part of the Classic Film Series, at 7:00 p.m. in the Presidential Conference Center. When a young man with a reputation for trouble comes to Frenchman's Bend, the big man in town decides he could be either an enemy or a match for his daughter. As the summer temperature rises, so do the tensions in Frenchman's Bend. Orson Welles, Paul Newman, and Joanne Woodward have never been better. Admission and refreshments are FREE.
