Classic Film Series -- State Fair

The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library presents State Fair, part of the Classic Film Series, at 7:00 p.m. in the Presidential Conference Center. The entire Frake family, complete with discontented daughter Margie and brother Wayne, leave the family farm for the Iowa State Fair. Margie, Wayne, and Blue Boy the hog all find summer romance as the fair proceeds. Will the romance outlast the fair? This family film features an amiable cast and a rousing Rogers & Hammerstein score. Will Rogers and Janet Gaynor deliver fun performances. Admission and refreshments are FREE.
