Classic Film Series -- The Pride of the Yankees

The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library presents The Pride of the Yankees, part of the Classic Film Series, at 7:00 p.m. in the Bush Library Auditorium. This biopic traces the life of baseball great Lou Gehrig from his childhood in New York until his famous 'Luckiest Man' speech at his farewell day in 1939. The emotion of the film and the appeal of Gehrig cover any other shortcomings. Gary Cooper and Teresa Wright star in this must-see for baseball fans of all ages. Admission and refreshments are FREE.
