The Making of a Global President: The China Diary of George H. W. Bush

Learn from the diary of George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States, about one of the most formative periods of his career. As head of the U.S. Liaison Office in Beijing from 1974-1975, Bush witnessed high-level policy deliberations and daily social interactions between the two countries.

Presentation is by Dr. Jeffrey A. Engel, Director of the Center for Presidential History at SMU.

Free. For grades 8 and up, including adult learners.
