Education Special Event: High School Days

Date(s): March 8, 2012 to March 9, 2012
Time(s): 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Location: Annenberg Presidential Conference Center and the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum

The High School Days program brings Bryan-College Station high school juniors to the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum for a day to be immersed in a wide variety of enriching educational experiences. This program has continued annually since 2002 through the cooperative relationship between area high school faculty and staff and the Bush Library and Museum's Education Department. The purpose is to offer high school juniors opportunities unavailable in their daily lives and to broaden their horizons through engaging activities. Seminars are presented by experts in science and history, as well as authors and motivational speakers. Additionally, the interactive museum offers opportunities for students to participate in dynamic decision-making sessions, such as the issues faced by President Bush concerning the first Gulf War.

For more information, please contact the Bush Library and Museum's Education Department at (979) 691-4006, or email to Bush.Education@nara.gov.
