Reading Discovery Distance Learning Program and Videoconference featuring Mrs. Barbara Bush

Date(s): February 2, 2012
Time(s): 10-11:15 a.m.
Location: Annenberg Presidential Conference Center's Frymire Auditorium

Join other students (grades 4-8) and teachers for the excitement of discovering new ideas through reading! Learn about the presidential election process and significant historical elections. Students ask Mrs. Bush questions during the videoconference. Free books are given in the order of registration (first-registered, first-served) and verified school participation.

The 2012 free book given to participating Texas students is The Election Book: The People Pick a President, by Scholastic Publishing, Inc. The topic is relevant and expands student understanding of our civic democratic process. Visit http://dl.esc6.net to register for distance learning programs through video conference, live-streaming or recorded participation. Only a computer is needed to make the connection for these programs!
