The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum Issues Forum presents Robert Schlesinger at 7:00pm on Thursday, October 30. This interactive lecture will focus on his book White House Ghosts.

White House Ghosts opens a fresh and revealing window on the modern presidency from FDR to George W. Bush. This is the first book to examine the crucial and often hidden role played by the men and women who help presidents find the words they hope will define their places in history.

Robert Schlesinger is a veteran Washington reporter and a former political editor for the insider publication The Hill. Schlesinger is also a Washington correspondent for The Boston Globe, and has written articles for The Washington Monthly, Salon.com, the Weekly Standard, and People. When he is not writing, Robert Schlesinger teaches political journalism at Boston University's Washington Journalism Center.
