Constitution Week To Be Celebrated At The Bush Museum

For Release: September 7, 2005
College Station, TX - Come celebrate Constitution Week at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum. On September 22nd, historical impressionist Peter M. Small will perform as our nation's first president, George Washington, and bring to life his role in the development of the Constitution of the United States. There will be two free presentations: 10:30 am to 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Visitors will also be able to add their signatures to the Constitution in the rotunda. Small has previously performed at the Ronald Reagan and Herbert Hoover Presidential Libraries. You may visit his website at www.history-alive.com.

This free event is sponsored by the Bush Museum Storytellers Guild and the Education Department. School tours of the museum are offered free with arrangements made in advance.

The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library hours are Monday - Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m.
