Classic Film Series Presents Gunfight At The OK Corral
For Release: August 25, 2005College Station, TX - The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library continues its summer lineup of the Classic Film Series with Gunfight at the OK Corral (1957) on September 8th, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Presidential Conference Center. This summer classic, directed by John Sturges, is based on the life and times of Wyatt Earp (Burt Lancaster) and his sickly companion, Doc Holliday (Kirk Douglas). The two heroes have a legendary battle against the villainous Clanton gang. Lancaster and Douglas are excellent. Admission and refreshments are FREE. For more information, call 979-691-4038.
The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library hours are Monday – Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. Museum admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for senior citizens 62+ and active or retired military with ID, as well as groups of 20 or more with advance reservations. Children 6 and older are $2.00; TAMU and Blinn College students as well as children under 6 are free.
