Bryan Author To Present Book To Bush Library
For Release: August 22, 2005College Station, TX - Local author Helen Ginga will present a copy of her book My Destiny with God to Library and Museum Director Warren Finch on Tuesday August 23, 2005. The presentation will take place in the museum rotunda at 10:00 am. Mrs. Ginga will be escorted by General Tom Darling, U.S. Army retired and her son Constantine.
According to Mrs. Ginga “My Destiny with God is a testimony of my family life during the Communist era in Romania from 1947 - 1989, where my husband, an American citizen, was in political prison for 9 years. This book is a testimony for all American Military, for all denominational churches for evangelistic crusades, and for all the people of the world, to put their trust in Almighty God and His love, that endures forever. I am writing this book at my advanced age (77 years old) that God granted to me, to be a living testimony of God's miracles” Ginga added.
Mrs. Ginga has lived in Bryan since 1993 when she relocated here to be close to her son. When not writing her family's story Mrs. Ginga enjoys gardening, spending time with friends and caring for her love birds.
