Classic Film Series Presents Marjorie Morningstar
For Release: July 5, 2005College Station, TX - The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library continues its summer lineup of the Classic Film Series with Marjorie Morningstar (1958) on July 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bush Library Auditorium. In this summer classic directed by Irving Rapper, a college student working as counselor at a summer camp falls for an older, second rate dramatist working at a nearby summer theater. Despite her parents’ objections and his own warning, Marjorie and Noel embark on an on-again-off-again romance. Natalie Wood and Gene Kelly (in a rare dramatic role) star. The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library hours are Monday – Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. Museum admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for senior citizens 62+ and active retired military with ID, as well as groups of 20 or more with advance reservations. Children 6 and older are $2.00; TAMU and Blinn College students as well as children under 6 are free.
