Happy Birthday Pres. and Mrs. Bush
Although former President Bush has spent past birthdays jumping from a plane 12,000 feet above the museum, this year the former President and Mrs. Bush are keeping things low profile by celebrating their birthdays with family and friends in Kennebunkport, Maine. Mrs. Bush's 83rd birthday is June 8, and President Bush's 84th birthday is June 12. Museum visitors can join the celebration from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12 in honoring both of the Bushes' birthdays with cake, ice cream, and refreshments in the rotunda. Also, people from all over the U.S. and the world are invited to send President and Mrs. Bush birthday greetings through the Museum's website at http://bushlibrary.tamu.edu. Please join us for this memorable occasion!
The Museum at the George Bush Presidential Library hours are Monday - Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. Admission for the Born to Play Ball is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for senior citizens 62+ and active and retired military with ID, as well as groups of 20 or more with advance reservations. Children 6 and older are $3.00; TAMU and Blinn College students as well as children under 6 are free.
